November 2019 – Louvain la Neuve – Vinyl Belgium joined Wallonia’s Green Deal “Circular procurement” to offer the signatories trainings on the VinylPlus® Product Label.
By participating in the Green Deal, 110 public and private organisations, of which Vinyl Belgium, committed to foster the circular economy in Wallonia. The signatories have agreed to implement circular projects within the three years of the Green Deal.
Vinyl Belgium wishes to get the VinylPlus® Product Label know to Wallonia’s Building and Construction stakeholders as tool to identify the most sustainable and high-performance PVC products. The VinylPlus® Product Label is a labelling scheme developed so as to ensure that the products and their components, but also the company’s policies and performances, are aligned with sustainability requirements such as recycling, the responsible use of additives, the sustainable energy use and minimizing emissions.
